Una y otra vez, the same thing, everyday o everylife

At times we unquestioningly and without basis [...] hold on to the nostalgic notion that "any time in the past was better".  Quería decir lo que pasaba por mi cabeza, pero de una forma universal, y claro que encontré esa frase tan cliché, tan real, tan repetida, tan nostálgica. That's right, hoy la nostalgia floreció.
